About this Project
The homeowner in Bull Creek contacted us after their garage door had come off its tracks, leaving the door unable to operate safely or securely. Situations like these require urgent attention, as an out-of-track door can become unstable, heavy, and dangerous to move without the correct equipment.
Upon arrival, our technician assessed the system and confirmed that the door had derailed due to imbalance and mechanical strain within the lifting components. The motor was also struggling to support and lift the door, indicating it was no longer performing effectively under load.
To restore stability and safe operation, the garage door was professionally realigned and reset within the tracks. Once correctly positioned, a detailed inspection revealed that the existing motor lacked the power needed to lift the door consistently and safely, especially after realignment.
To resolve this, we supplied and installed a new RDO-06 Superlift motor, a reliable and high-torque unit designed to handle heavier sectional doors and ensure smooth, dependable daily operation. The system was then recalibrated, balanced, and tested through multiple cycles to confirm correct travel, even lifting, and compliant safety performance.
Following completion, the door operated smoothly and securely, with significantly improved lifting power and overall reliability.
The result was a fully restored and upgraded garage door system, delivering safe, stable, and long-term performance for the homeowner.
