Impact Damage Repair & Door Securing

The problem

The homeowner in City Beach contacted us after their garage door was severely impacted by a vehicle, causing it to come off its tracks and become unsafe to operate. Impact-related damage can significantly affect the structural integrity of the door, often leading to misalignment, panel distortion, and compromised safety.

What we found

Upon arrival, our technician assessed the extent of the damage and prioritised safely stabilising the system. The door had been heavily displaced from its tracks, requiring careful handling to prevent further structural stress or risk during repositioning.

What we did

We carried out a garage door repair to realign and secure the system, ensuring the door was safely repositioned and no longer posed an immediate hazard. Given the severity of the impact, measurements and photos were also taken to prepare for a potential door replacement if required.

The primary objective was to restore safety and secure the property while providing the client with clear next steps for a long-term solution.

The result

The result was a safely secured garage door system, with the property protected and options in place for repair or replacement moving forward.
