About this Project
The homeowner in Kwinana Beach engaged us to upgrade their existing garage door automation system and improve the overall structural setup of the installation. The previous configuration required adjustment to ensure correct alignment and long-term reliability.
After assessing the door system onsite, we supplied and installed a new RDO-6 motor, selected for its durability, smooth performance, and suitability for residential sectional doors. The upgrade provides stronger lifting capacity, quieter operation, and improved daily reliability.
As part of the installation, we also relocated and modified the mounting bracket position. Correct bracket placement is critical to ensuring proper force distribution and preventing premature wear on both the motor and door components. By reconfiguring the bracket location, we optimised the system geometry and ensured the motor operated under ideal load conditions.
Following installation, the system was carefully calibrated, including limit settings and safety checks, to ensure compliant, seamless performance.
The result is a clean, professionally configured setup that delivers smooth, dependable operation and long-term peace of mind.
